On Friday, March 4th, Giulio Bonazzi, President and CEO of Aquafil, will receive the “Radical Green 2016 Award” for 10 stories of sustainable innovation.
Aquafil will receive the prize for its efforts in improving the sustainability of its process, especially for the ECONYL® Regeneration Process that allows the regeneration of Nylon 6 waste into yarn for new textiles (carpets and garments).
Among the other winners are 10 stories of sustainability innovation from the following companies: Irinox, Eurotech, Solidpower, Lago, Zordan, EcorNaturasì, CibicWorkshop, SAV – Società alluminio Veneto, Arte Sella. Journalist Eliana Liotta, of the magazine Sette/Corriere della Sera will be hosting the event.
The award is part of the Green Week, an event dedicated to a sustainable economy. Green Week, scheduled for March 4-6, will host interesting meetings and conferences on sustainability around this year’s theme of “Io non spreco” (I don’t waste).
