Vast is the sea of swimwear labels to choose from in 2019. After all, it’s always summer somewhere – especially on Instagram – which means a new crop of designers reinventing the wheel of the traditional one-piece and bikini as we know them are coming up to the surface.

Recyclable nylon, waterproof velvet, convertible sizing and diversity in style are just some of the elements designers are introducing into our seaside wardrobes, meaning customers the world over are becoming spoilt for choice come time to pack for their European holiday.

Fashion meets environmental footprint in Vogue Paris stylist-cum-swimwear designer Talia Collins’s namesake label. Inspired by childhood memories spent seaside in the South of France, the brand’s offerings are made using Italian fabrics composed of regenerated Econyl® yarn – a special yarn made up of repurposed fishing nets discarded in the ocean.


Collected waste is regenerated into Econyl® yarn and forms the basis for the luxurious swim fabric used throughout my collections.“
