Thirteenth annual ‘Global Green’ pre-Oscar’s party welcomes celebrities, politicians and green business leaders onto a ‘green’ red carpet made from recycled nylon
During the awards season in LA, all eyes are usually on the glamourous actors, directors and producers gathered in the hope of receiving a golden gong that represents the pinnacle of career success.
But at last night’s pre-Oscar party, all eyes were on the carpet. Global Green’s 13th Annual Pre-Oscar’s party featured for the first time a ‘green’ red carpet made entirely using waste nylon found in materials such as abandoned fishing nets.
The carpet – which was also green in colour – was custom made for last night’s event by Italian recycling experts Aquafil and manufacturing firm Milliken.
