On the 23rd of June, the Healthy Seas socks, made with ECONYL® yarn, will be for sale in all Kaufland stores. The socks are unique and produced with regenerated yarn made from waste such as fishing nets recovered through the Healthy Seas initiative.

Kaufland is a new partner of the Healthy Seas initiative and will use the ECONYL® yarn to produce beautiful socks for its more than 1,150 stores in Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Croatia, Romania and Bulgaria.

Kaufland strongly focus on sustainability and continuously expands its range of sustainable products, such as Healthy Seas socks. Social and ecological responsibility is an integral part of Kaufland’s corporate policy. The company is committed to the conservation of the seas and the global fish stocks.

With the participation of Kaufland to the Healthy Seas initiative, another valuable partner is joining the group and giving new life to the fishing nets recovered by Healthy Seas divers.
