The British company today unveils two key new steps in its sustainability programme – including an innovative new labelling scheme and a sexy, entirely sustainable capsule collection of 26 essential piece


It’s a tough time for fashion companies. With the Covid-19 outbreak having hit China and Italy – the dual centres of the luxury industry’s production, consumption and creation – hard early on, there have been major disruptions in the ability of the world’s biggest brands to make, market and, most importantly, sell their wares.

In addition, the company also today unveils its ReBurberry Edit. Consisting of 26 pieces, including sunglasses crafted from a very clever bio-based acetate, trench coats and parkas made entirely from Econyl (a recycled nylon made from discarded and regenerated fishing nets) and bags made in factories powered by renewable energy, each piece in the capsule is made in a sustainable manner and is available to buy from the brand’s online store now.
