Cannes, France, May 20, 2019 — Aquafil, creator of ECONYL® regenerated nylon alongside Europe’s leading carpet producer Ege Carpets have developed a sustainable bespoke carpet for LOVE party – the annual soiree hosted by luxury jewellery house Chopard during the Cannes Film Festival.
The carpet, made for the most part from ECONYL®, showcases sustainable design at this high-profile event. Previously, Aquafil developed recycled carpet for events including the CFDA Awards and Green Carpet Fashion Awards, Italia.

After the event, the Chopard carpet will be reused before being recycled. The worn part will be regenerated and the rest repurposed, ensuring the ECONYL® adventure continues.
