The fashion industry doesn’t have the best reputation when it comes to the environment.
Speaking of Stella McCartney, it probably won’t come as a huge surprise, given its vegetarian credentials, that this is another brand dabbling in upcycling. Having perfected vegan leather, it uses a yarn called ECONYL® — a regenerated nylon made from waste including industrial plastic and fishing nets — to create rucksacks.
