On the 3 – 5 of June, Healthy Seas was at Green Week in Brussels. The theme for this year was Circular Economy; saving resources, creating jobs.

Healthy Seas had a very popular stand where people could admire the products created with ECONYL® regenerated yarn coming also from the abandoned fishing nets recovered by the initiative.

EU Commissioner for Environment Janez Potocnik visited the Healthy Seas stand to discover all about our journey from waste to wear. He showed great interest and was offered a unique Healthy Seas t-shirt.

Also Mr. Fabrizio Calenti, General Manager for the NTF business unit of Aquafil, was invited to talk about ECONYL® and the Regeneration System. The title of his talk was: the ECONYL® journey: Power and miracles of Supply Chain Partnership.
