With its Spring Summer 2019 collection Save the Duck, the 100% animal friendly brand, introduces its new OCEAN IS MY HOME line to the market.
The line boasts a new light blue logo reminiscent of the colours of the ocean. Alongside its claim “We clean the Ocean”, Save The Duck has committed to supporting the Surfrider Foundation Europe, an international association that works tirelessly to safeguard the sea and ocean and keep beaches clean.

For each garment sold of the OCEAN IS MY HOME collection, Save The Duck will devolve a part of the revenue to the Surfrider Foundation Europe and, thanks to this concrete commitment, it will help clean 300,000sqm of beaches and free the sea and oceans of 6,000kg of garbage.

The pieces of the OCEAN IS MY HOME collection are made using a special material, NETY, obtained from 100% ECONYL® regenerated nylon. ECONYL® regenerated nylon is made from recycled fishing nets recuperated in the seas and oceans and from recycled pre-consumer and post-consumer nylon. This is a further step towards sustainability, an essential trait of the brand, a part of its identity.

The colour palette takes inspiration from the vast range of ocean hues. The Men’s collection includes the full range of blues down to white, while the Women’s collection embraces all shades of green, from emerald green to mint green, and white. The added colours belong to the vast and silent abyss: yellows, oranges and different tones of coral red.

The OCEAN IS MY HOME models cross over the main collections of the brand and include micro puffer jackets in different weights, technical outerwear garments of the Rainy and Protech lines as well as the Burn line, where fashion meets sport, with athleisure pieces mixing puffer and sweatshirt materials.
