Tomorrow will be the big day. The Copenhagen Fashion Summit will open the doors at the Copenhagen Concert Hall for its sixth edition taking place May 15-16, 2018.

The first summit was in 2009 when Copenhagen was the host of the UN Climate Summit. Sustainability and climate change were not top of the agenda at that time, but Eva Kruse, President and CEO of the Global Fashion Agenda, managed to assemble a group of industry leaders and experts to start talking about the topic in one of the most polluting industries in the world: fashion.

Today, the Copenhagen Fashion Summit is a business event for sustainable fashion looking to discuss all topics around social and environmental sustainability with top industry decision makers. The summit has a mainstream approach to sustainability and has become the nexus for agenda-setting discussions on the most critical environmental, social and ethical issues facing our industry and planet.

We will be present with our ECONYL® brand in a double role. First, we will be part of the Innovation Forum that will present +50 solution providers covering the entire supply chain – from innovative fabrics to green packaging solutions, and from new disruptive ideas to tried and tested large-scale solutions. Our booth will display the story behind the ECONYL® regenerated nylon yarn, turning waste problems into fashion and interior solutions. Then, we will also sponsor a panel discussion with the title: Business Model for a Closed Loop Fashion System that will take place on the 15th of May and will feature Giulio Bonazzi, Chairman and CEO of Aquafil, among other panelists.

The conferences will be visible online in streaming, so follow us and come and visit us at our booth at the Grand Solutions.
