On Monday of this week, Diana Auria of Auria London visited our ECONYL® plant to discover more about the regeneration process that allows us to transform pre- and post-consumer waste, like fishing nets or old carpets, into regenerated nylon yarn for new products, like the beautiful swimwear by Auria London.

Diana was very interested in seeing every step of the process and was amazed by our warehouse in Ajdovscina where waste coming from all over the world is stored and prepared for regeneration.

She took advantage of this visit to make a takeover of Selfridges‘ Snapchat account and dedicated that day (Monday) to tell the story behind the scenes of the ECONYL® yarn.

You can see some pictures of her visit here and also watch a short interview with Auria, posted on Periscope. Check back next week to see a longer version of the interview.

Enjoy it!
