On May 11, 2017 the fifth edition of the Copenhagen Fashion Summit will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark. The summit is the world’s most important event on sustainability in fashion and offers a meeting platform for the fashion sector’s decision makers and creatives to learn and engage with industry frontrunners.

We will be there to follow all the interesting conferences among which there will be a round table discussion with Giulio Bonazzi, CEO of Aquafil and the man behind the revolutionary ECONYL® Regeneration System. His round table discussion will focus on technology innovations and will see the participation of Marco Lucietti, global marketing director of ISKO™, Leonard D. Lane, managing director of Fung Academy, Christoph Hahn, managing director of I:CO and Amit Gautam, executive vice president of Lenzig. The discussion will be lead by Dio Kurozawa, denim director of WGSN.

Among the others participants are William Mc Donough, who will speak about cradle to cradle and circular economy; Dame Ellen Mac Arthur, founder of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation; Eva Kruse, CEO & President of Global Fashion Agenda; Livia Firth, founder and creative director of Eco_Age; Cecilia Takayama, director of Materials Innovation Lab at Kering; and John Moore, co-founder and creative director of Outerknown.

The final talk will be by Her Royal Highness Crown the Princess Mary of Denmark.

Keynotes, discussions and deep diving breakout sessions will see leading voices sharing their experiences and commitments to inspire future action related to some important topics like: circular design, technology innovations, customer engagement and supply chain transparency.

But we will be there also in another form. The carpet at the event is in fact a special carpet that ege designed for the Copenhagen Fashion Summit and is made using our ECONYL® regenerated yarn.
