Only few days are left for the Green Tec Awards in Berlin. The big event  will take place on Friday 30th at 6.00p.m when the first stars will walk on the “green red carpet” made by Vorwerk with ECONYL® yarn.

The Green Tec Awards will present the latest advances in green technologies in order to increase public awareness as well as to raise ecological and economic consciousness and commitment. The purpose of this award is to bridge the gap between entrepreneurs, scientists, politicians, artists, media representatives and consumers, thus raising awareness and boosting the popularity of the sustainable revolution.

For us, there was no better event than this to be present with the ECONYL® green red carpet. All the stars and celebrities invited to Green Tec will walk on the ECONYL® green carpet that will replace for this occasion the ordinary red carpet used in such occasions.

It does make a lot of sense. Doesn’t it? Celebrating the best projects about sustainability, the best environmental-friendly products and the best green technologies on a carpet that is also sustainable because it is made with regenerated nylon coming from pre and post consumer waste collected around the world. Isn’t this perfect? Sustainable products celebrated on sustainable carpet!

The event will be held in the prestigious location of the Deutsche Telekom building in Berlin city center. Many VIP will be present and national TV will broadcast the awards.

The program starts at 18.00 with VIP walk on the green red carpet made by Vorwerk with ECONYL® regenerated yarn. After this, the award ceremony will start awarding  the best projects in sustainability. Then people will move to a very special exhibitors area where different companies will display their products and talk about their projects in sustainability.

Some 800 guests are expected to experience how elegant Green Technologies can be. The Awards will be assigned, in proper celebratory style, in the categories “Production“, “Energy“, “Mobility“, “Aviation“, “Recycling“, “Communication“, “Building & Living“ and “ProSieben Galileo Wissenspreis“.
