Rey Swimwear launches new collection made with ECONYL® regenerated yarn
Swimsuit designer Jessica Rey, founder of Rey Swimwear has developed sustainable swimsuit designs partnering with our company, Aquafil, to create designs that incorporate our ECONYL® 100% regenerated Nylon.
Rey’s collection will include one-piece, two-piece and kids’ swimwear lines and will offer popular designs with women’s confidence, comfort, and timeless style in mind.
The company was founded on the principal that all people have dignity and deserve to be treated with respect– not just the ladies who wear the swimsuits, but those who make them as well. They decided to use fabric made with ECONYL® yarn to respect people and the environment, and they manufacture their swimsuits in sweatshop free factories in Los Angeles where people are paid fairly and treated with dignity.
We are very happy to share with you this latest collaboration we are very proud of and happy to share the talk that Jessica did telling the story of the bikini and the evolution of women’s swimsuit. So, as Jessica said: How will you use your beauty?
