Loka Swimwear is a Canadian/Australian eco-conscious company owned by female surfers, yoginis, and fisherwomen. Their styles range from retro high-waisted bikinis to cheeky bottoms and classic lace-up one pieces. Loka’s exclusive prints are uniquely inspired by nature and its tribes; printed on fabric comprised of 78% ECONYL® regenerated nylon (made also from salvaged fishing nets). Their designs are carefully crafted to make you feel like a goddess of the sea; each of which is made to fit the variety of shapes and sizes of women worldwide.
Loka was founded on the belief that responsible swimwear doesn’t mean compromising quality, style, or function. With integrity as the foundation of our vision, every detail, stitch, and campaign is comprised with the environment — and its people — in mind. They strive to integrate honesty and strong work ethic into all aspects of our company, and have obtained their B-Corp pending status. They are also proudly a 1% for the Planet member and are always looking for ways to raise standards in the fashion industry, and for ways to improve their operation and footprint.
“With wanderlust in our eyes and the sea in our hearts, we are in unity for a sustainable future”
